A little more info, please.
What exactly do you mean by: "When I go to Dell.com, and try to configure a new computer"
Do you have mulitple Dell computers that you're trying to do a new configuration?
What is the "first option" that you mentioned?
Are you in the Support section where it asks you to select the model from the drop down lists?
Firefox may be blocking javascripts or activeX, or something that the Dell site requires.
