[Simply Computers] XP3 Reinstalls and IE8 Downloads

 

I've just recently downloaded a copy of IE8, except there seem to be many different or 'missing features' between this and the original, regarding the tool, menu, and address bar, for example. Is there a basketful of advice somewhere re modifying the toolbar?

Also, a reinstall of XP3 has resulted with missing features - desktop options, for example, that affect the shape and magnification of the desktop/display, as well as font sizing thoughout.

And it's no longer possible to sort documents by date or alphabetically, in reverse or otherwise. Would this be an IE8 or XP3 issue?

Any enlightenment most welcome.
