Thanks Roger, actually the only thing i am having problems with is facebook games loading. They want load at all and none of there sulutions help.I have checked the games help section also and nothing works. I did a really good cleaning before i did the recovery. Everything is working great except the facebook games.
I dont have the reciept for the computer. It is about 4 years old. I figured there was a way to find out about the physical memory on the computer itself. Thanks

Subject: [Simply Computers] Re: Memory Questions
Hello
How much memory you started with is how much was in the computer when you got it. Did you buy it new? What does your sales receipt say (if you still have it).
You have 1 GB now ... you will probably find that Vista runs better with 2 GB.
Virtual memory is just a section on your hard drive that the computers uses temporarily when it runs out of regular memory.
But are you saying that your computer still runs slowly after doing a system recovery?
If your computer is running slowly, and you run the recovery disk, and do the updates, and it STILL is slow, then you may have a hardware problem instead of a software problem.
This could be anything from a failing hard drive, to a failing power supply, to a clogged cpu heatsink, etc. etc.
You may want to open the computer (with the power unplugged) and just take a look inside. If there's a lot of dust collected, a good cleaning might be all it needs.
Unfortunately, a hardware problem is hard for us to diagnose in email. You might have to take it into a shop to have them look at it. The can also clean it out for you. Be sure to make a backup of your valuable data (if any).
You could buy more memory, but that is probably not the problem. Even with only 1 GB installed, the computer should act quickly enough after doing a recovery.
