Hi

I think that you'll find that "low profile" means that it IS designed to fit into a system like yours (the Dell website says your case is 3.9" wide - they show it standing on end, rather than laying flat).

This is a "slim" profile case, so it requires a low profile video card.

I don't believe that low profile video cards are low power because they are smaller in dimension ... but rather they are low power because they are designed to fit into slim cases, which usually only contain a lower-wattage power supply.

So it's not the height that makes them low power, but rather the application they were designed for.
