Hi,
If I may take a stab at this: I would take the error message at its
word - you have a bad file.
I just searched my XP machine in Windows, Program Files, and
Docs&Settings for all OCX files and found none that were named either
Transfer or HTTPTransfer. So, I recommend that you search the machine
that WONT work correctly for all OCX files and see if you have one
that is suggested by the error message. Then, right click on that
file, choose Properties and seek out and record the version number.
Next go to a machine this is CORRECTLY working and find the same file
and locate the version information. If they don't match that may be
your problem and even if they do YOU may have a corrupted file so
make a copy from the good machine and copy it over to your machine
replacing your file.
If you find more than one file of the same name on NON-working
machine that too may be the problem. But do the exercise outlined
above to find out the version of the file on a working machine then
make you computer match that one.
This suggestion is rated at having a 40% likelihood of solving your problem.
