Re: [Simply Computers] Unwanted phone calls

 


Apparently there is no answering machine that will keep and respond to a
list of acceptable phone numbers and will send the rest directly to the
message response. At least, I couldn't find one.

However, there are several programs available on the web that seem to
perform the above function through a PC modem. Does anyone know more
about that?

Knowing enough to be dangerous, I could probably wreck my computer and
reduce myself to tears trying to write such a program.
