Vincent, thanks for the info. I primarily got the monitor to replace a failing 20 year old one. Had thought my eyes were going before I realized it was the monitor!! Wanted to have side by side windows for the TV Guide and WordPerfect so I could type the programs without constantly switching windows. It is clear enough for me now and I think with the proper resolution and Windows7 should be better. When finances allow I'll look into the other video card.
