I hope this topic is allowed here. If not please let me know.
I have a PC game that I can host as multiplayer online and have people join my room. That all works great. The problem I am having is that I have another PC here that family members want to play in my multiplayer games and cannot join. the game on the other PC tells them that they cannot join at this time try again later and my ping shows as 9999. The other PC can join other rooms in the game, just not mine. Well try again later has gone on for about 2 years now with no change. I have looked at the game website and many others for a solution, with no luck. From what I have seen on some of the websites is that it is a modem/router issue, because we are behind the same modem/router. I have a Netgear B90-755025-15 modem/Router that I just received from the phone company. I had hopes that the new router would solve this problem. Though that is not why I got a new one. I don't know a thing about ports, so any help would need to be step by step. I don't know if I can name the game on the group or not, It would pobably be hard to help me without that info. just let me know and if it's OK I will. It is an older game from 2008.
