After you reset the router (as in Mike's link) you will need to do a few security things.

The router setup screen noted in the Belkin page will have a login username and password. The password will be back to the default one, and may even be blank.

You need to create a hard-to-guess password, so that someone doesn't hack into your router from the Internet and take it over. Once you enter the password and update the settings, the router may reboot and you will have to login again with the username and new password.

You also have to make a new Wireless passphrase (you knew that). Be sure to enable "WPA2" encryption in your wireless security, unless you know for sure that some of your wireless devices can only use WPA. Do not use WEP.

You can also turn off Upnp ... it's considered a security hazard.

You do not need to hide your SSID, as people used to advise, as long as you have a strong wireless passphrase.
