Check your virus protection, Window doesn't drop support until 2013

Subject: [The Computer Hardware Technician] Windows can't check for updates
Hi There,
It's been a long time since I have had to ask you guys a question,
and it's nice to see you are still around.
I am running windows vista ultimate 32 bit.
The last updates that were installed were 26/6/2012.
An error code has appeared and is telling me " Windows Can't Check For Updates"
The code number of the error is 80070005 andI have tried to find that
error but have found nothing, however there is a code error of
80070003. So I am not really sure where to go from here.
