Can you boot into Safe Mode? Do you have the latest Hiren's Boot CD 13.2 burned to CD? If you boot up WinXP in Safe Mode, put in Hiren's CD and open it inside Windows and browse, use it to browse for the file using their installed Web browser, Opera, I think. Download the file/s you need where you know where to find it/them.
Others here can tell you if any other tools on it will help scan and rid your computer of its ills. Maybe other online tools can help while in Safe Mode...any know better tools?

Hello out there: this is not a reply, but rather, a repost. I could not download Rubotted and that widget/bot is still haunting the desktop.

Any ideas, anyone, much appreciated.
