It sounds like you've done all you can. If you try each Restore point, and they all fail, the only thing I know of is to do a complete reinstall of Windows.
But why are you trying to Restore? Is your computer unusable?
If your computer is running good enough to live with, I would just turn off System Restore, which will delete all the old restore points, then turn System Restore back on and reboot.
Create a new Restore Point, which you can use to get back to where you are today.
However, if your computer is running poorly, this won't help you, and you may need to completely reinstall Windows.
If it's running just a little bad, you might have a corrupted System File. You can try running the following command in a Command Prompt window and see if it fixes it:
sfc /scannow
Also be sure to scan for spyware with Superantispyware or Malwarebytes
