Re: [Simply Computers] Cannot boot Laptop Windows XPpro

I'd try a Hiren's Boot CD in Mini WinXP mode, I'd run Ccleaner and see if that would allow normal boot or Safe Boot with Networking. No Hiren's, try putting the hard disk externally on another system and see if scans can repair it.

Folks,

I'm in a jam. There is a file that is corupted on my

IBM Thinkpad X31, named "ATHGINA.DLL

I can repair what's wrong IF I could get to the file,

but XPp won't boot without it. There is no emergency

boot disk...yeah, shoulda made one. :(

What to do now?

Thanks,

Charlie
