A good first step is to contact the ISP and have them run tests from the
office to verify your connection. If that doesn't fix it, have them come out
and check all the connections from the street to your house. Often times the
connections are corroded and transmit information poorly.
Beyond that tell us what type of equipment you have (e.g., modem / router).
You could also try resetting it but then you will have to write down any
specific settings you have.

Subject: [Simply Computers] won't stay on the internet
I'll be on the internet and without any warning the internet will
disconnect. I have to unplug from the wall and restart to make it connect
again. This has been happening for about four days now. Its getting very
annoying. I don't know what to do about this. I was wondering if this
could be a virus? I have AVG and I've run a scan and a Malwarebyte scan and
it doesn't show any virus.
I sure hope you can help me.
Thanks.
