I bet you need to install VGA drivers. Go to the Dell website and it should help you.

Hey Gurus, I just bought a Dell Latitude D-800 for resale. When I got it, it had Ubuntu and I immediately reinstalled XP Pro v2. When it had Ubuntu, I had good screen size and resolution - when I installed the XP

the image on the screen shrunk by half and nothing I can do in control panel (I also can not change the resolution) will change it. The pint size screen is centered but I can not get it to "fit to screen." On IE I have tried the enlarge box but it does not even work there. Can't find anything in XP for Dummies either. Any help - pleeeeeaaase?
